1. TREKKING IN THE PANEVEGGIO PARK
The Paneveggio Nature Park is situated in the most easterly portion of Trentino, the park encompasses the forests of Paneveggio, S. Martino di Castrozza, Valsorda and Valzanca, the Dolomite group of the Pale di S. Martino, and a short section of the Lagorai chain, for a total of 197 Km².
The park visitor centre, called “Terra Foresta”, describes the history of this great forest of Norway Spruce, now known throughout the world as the Forest of Violins for the quality of its soundboard spruce, which was highly prized by the master violin makers of the past. Near the Centre you can have a walk on the naturalistic path which offers big enclosure with several deer.

2. TREKKING/CHAIRLIFT TO ALPE DI PAMPEAGO
Alpe di Pampeago has already represented the finishing stage of five editions of Giro d'Italia. Ideal destination for bikers, it is the only dolomitic pass to be paved and closed to traffic.
Take the chairlifts to reach the peaks of Latemar, that Unesco declared “World Heritage Site”.
In Pampeago, another place is worth a visit: it's RespirArt. It is one of the highest art parks in the world as it runs from an altitude of 2,000 to 2,200. Born in 2011 as a project of the journalist Beatrice Calamari and artist Marco Nones, it leads to the discovery of art installations that interact with pastures and peaks of the Dolomites Unesco World Natural Heritage Site. It's suitable for art lovers and those, young and old, who want to discover the secrets of land art.
